RAW or COOKED?
RAW food contains enzymes which are needed by the body for
digestion and other functions. Although some digestive enzymes
are found in the body, a diet consisting of only COOKED or
microwaved foods will quickly deplete them. On the other hand,
RAW foods can be difficult for some people to digest, and may
pass through the body without being broken down completely.
OneScoopaDay.com has a verity of nutritional supplements that
are pre-digested for near 100% assumption.A mixture of RAW and
COOKED foods is generally best.
COOKED vegetables should be lightly steamed, never overcooked! Fruit
and vegetable juices also contain beneficial enzymes, however,
these enzymes can be obtained without the overabundance of
harmful sugar by eating RAW fruits and vegetables. Go for fresh!
